Support Worker (Female Only)

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Employer: FitzRoy

FitzRoy are recruiting a Female Support Worker for our supported living service in Bicester.

You will be supporting four adults (three males and one female) in their 20s and 30s who have learning disabilities and autism, and may display behaviours that challenge. Every individual has their own personality, interests and goals, and you will play a key role in supporting them to live independently, build their confidence and enjoy fulfilling lives within their community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where no two days are the same. You will encourage independence, promote choice and provide person-centred support that helps people achieve their aspirations.

Due to the needs of the people we support, this post is open to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.

If you are caring, compassionate and want to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.

“It’s hard to put into words what has motivated me to stay at FitzRoy for 50 years. I love working with the people we support, it really is all down to them. The connection you make with them and the difference you are making is the real delight of the job.”

“You don’t become a support worker unless you want to help people and make a difference to someone’s life. That’s what made me want to do this job – I have always been a caring person and I wanted to help give people with learning disabilities a voice.”

“FitzRoy is such an incredible place to work, everyone really cares about the people we support. I am genuinely passionate about improving their quality of life, and when you see the people we support achieving a goal I feel immense job satisfaction.”
