Internal Development Opportunity

We are pleased to offer an exciting internal opportunity for a Deputy Manager to support three services across our Oxfordshire locality, based within Bicester and Horspath.

This fixed-term role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager looking to broaden their management experience across multiple services while supporting colleagues to deliver outstanding, person-centred support.

About the Role

Working alongside the Service Managers, you will help oversee the day-to-day operation of three services, ensuring the people we support receive high-quality care and support that promotes choice, independence and inclusion.

You will provide leadership to teams across the services, support staff development, ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements, and contribute to maintaining positive service outcomes.

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity that will allow you to gain valuable multi-site management experience while making a meaningful difference to the lives of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operational management of three services across Bicester and Horspath.
  • Lead, motivate and develop staff teams.
  • Deliver and promote a person-centred approach to support.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and retention activities.
  • Conduct supervisions, coaching and performance management discussions.
  • Support rota planning and workforce management.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Monitor service quality and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals and stakeholders.
  • Promote FitzRoy's values and culture across all services.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a leadership role within health and social care.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred support and positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple services.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, medication management and CQC regulations.
  • A positive and proactive approach to leadership.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, due to travel between services.
