Looking for a role that's active, rewarding and makes a genuine difference?

FitzRoy are looking for caring, confident and energetic Female Support Workers to join a specialist support team in Atherstone.

You'll be supporting a young woman with autism and diabetes as she transitions from a secure setting into her own home and community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a close-knit team helping someone build independence, confidence and a life filled with choice and opportunity.

No two days are the same. One day could involve a trip out in the community, the next supporting with life skills, hobbies, exercise, shopping, cooking or helping achieve personal goals.

This is a 2:1 support package, meaning you'll always be working alongside another colleague to provide safe, consistent and person-centred support.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting a young woman to live independently in her own home
  • Encouraging hobbies, interests and community activities
  • Promoting independence, confidence and life skills
  • Supporting with personal care when required
  • Helping manage health needs, including diabetes (full training provided)
  • Building positive relationships through consistency and trust
  • Working as part of a dedicated specialist support team
  • Completing clear and accurate records

What We're Looking For

You don't need previous care experience. We're more interested in finding people who are:

  • Positive, enthusiastic and reliable
  • Active and happy to get involved in day-to-day activities
  • Calm and confident in challenging situations
  • Great communicators and team players
  • Passionate about helping people achieve their goals
  • Flexible to work weekends as part of a rota
  • Drivers with access to their own vehicle due to the service location

Experience supporting people with autism, learning disabilities or complex needs is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

  • Fully paid induction and specialist training
