Female Support Worker

Could you make a difference to the lives of the 9 people we support?

The people we support live with varying levels of mental health needs and behaviours of concern. We are looking for compassionate, resilient and motivated Female Support Workers to join our friendly and dedicated team.

This is a female-only role, which is exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the personal care needs of the people we support.

As a Support Worker, you will be at the heart of providing person-centred support. Every day is different, and you will play a vital role in helping the people we support live fulfilling, meaningful and independent lives.

You will support people with everyday tasks, developing new skills, accessing their local community, maintaining relationships, and achieving their personal goals and outcomes. Your role will focus on promoting independence, choice and inclusion, ensuring each person is treated with dignity and valued as an equal member of their community.

You will also provide practical support with daily living activities, including personal care, health and wellbeing, household tasks, and taking part in hobbies, interests and activities that contribute to a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.

About the Service

You will be supporting 9 people who have a range of mental health needs and may at times display behaviours of concern. Some individuals also have a forensic history, therefore experience working with people who have mental health needs, complex behaviours or within forensic settings would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
