We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to support two of our services in Blofield Heath and Thorpe St Andrews, working with a total of 6 people we support with learning disabilities across both locations.

This role is based across two services in Blofield Heath and Thorpe St Andrews, so flexibility and the ability to travel between locations is essential.

This is a rewarding and varied role where you will play a key part in leading shifts, supporting colleagues, and ensuring the people we support live happy, healthy and independent lives.


About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide high quality, person-centred support to people with learning disabilities across both services in Blofield Heath and Thorpe St Andrews
  • Lead shifts and support the wider team
  • Support with care planning and risk assessments
  • Administer medication where required
  • Promote independence, choice and inclusion
  • Build positive relationships with families and professionals
  • Travel between the two services as needed

About You

To be successful, you will:

  • Have previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities
  • Be confident supporting people with complex needs
  • Be reliable, organised and able to lead by example
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to travel between Blofield Heath and Thorpe St Andrews (essential)
