Support Worker – Female Only
📍 Great Barton ¦ Full-Time (37.5 hrs/week)
💷 £12.40 per hour + £2.50 p/h for overtime
🚗 Full UK Driving Licence (Manual) Required
About the Role:
We’re looking for compassionate and flexible support workers to join our team in a beautiful 4-bedroom bungalow in Great Barton, home to four vibrant young women with high support needs.
These ladies enjoy an active lifestyle – from cinema trips and zoo visits to meals out at the pub. Each has their own manual car, so driving is essential, both for commuting and supporting them in their day-to-day adventures.
Your Day-to-Day:
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide personalised care that helps each person live as independently as possible while staying safe and supported. Every day will be different and may include:
Supporting personal care routines
Administering insulin (full training provided)
Engaging in fun activities and community outings
Promoting independence and well-being
Supporting with household tasks and daily living
Shift Patterns:
Morning Shift: 07:00 – 14:30
Afternoon/Evening Shift: 14:00 – 22:00
(Alternate weekend work required – flexibility is key)
What You’ll Need:
A passion for supporting people with learning disabilities
Full UK driving licence (manual)
Willingness to drive service users’ vehicles
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
Female applicants only (in line with service users’ needs)
