Support Worker – Moreton, Kidlington

Sorry, we cannot offer sponsorship for this role

FitzRoy are recruiting female Support Workers to join our Moreton service in Kidlington, supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

This service supports 5 people living together in a shared HMO property, including one married couple and three females, all working towards greater independence and developing their life skills. Due to the needs of the people we support, this vacancy is open to female applicants only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).

This isn’t your typical social care role. If you enjoy getting out and about, whether that is meeting for a hot chocolate, cooking, going for walks or helping people try new things, this could be the role for you.

You will be supporting people to:

  • Live independently in their own home
  • Develop life skills and confidence
  • Access community activities, education or work opportunities
  • Build social connections and enjoy meaningful daily routines

Location

Kidlington. A driving licence is not essential, as long as you are confident using public transport when required.

Rate of Pay and Hours

£14.06 per hour, enhanced over time rates for hours worked over 37.5 per week. Full-time contracts available (37.5 hours per week), working on a rota basis across a 7-day week. Shift patterns include early shifts from 07:00 to 14:30 and late shifts from 14:30 to 22:00. Sleep-ins are required and paid at £50 per sleep.

“FitzRoy is such an incredible place to work, everyone really cares about the people we support. I am genuinely passionate about improving their quality of life, and when you see the people we support achieving a goal I feel immense job satisfaction.”
