Senior Finance Assistant

Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent ¦ Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in the Petersfield office

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join FitzRoy’s Central Support Finance team. This role is predominantly Purchase Ledger focused, with some Credit Control cover required, making it ideal for a capable finance all‑rounder.

You’ll support the delivery of accurate financial records, work closely with colleagues across the organisation, and help improve finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑day Purchase Ledger support
  • Supplier, utility and invoice processing
  • Managing company credit card and Amazon purchasing programmes
  • Posting direct debits and completing ledger reconciliations
  • Running supplier payment batches
  • Providing Credit Control cover when required
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing

What We’re Looking For

  • AAT Level 2 qualified (or equivalent) – minimum requirement
  • Strong Purchase Ledger experience
  • Some Credit Control experience or willingness to provide cover
  • Organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
