We are looking for an experienced and driven Credit Control Manager to lead and develop our credit control function, ensuring the effective management of our sales ledger and the timely collection of income.

In this key role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of debtor accounts, overseeing the full invoicing process and ensuring debts are managed in line with agreed targets. You will play a vital role in reducing aged debt, maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract information, and supporting the financial health of the organisation.

This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity with approximately 2 days per week at our office in Petersfield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the credit control function to deliver high performance
  • Manage the organisation’s sales ledger and ensure timely income collection
  • Maintain and monitor a portfolio of debtor accounts
  • Raise fee-related invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Reduce aged debt and meet collection targets
  • Ensure all contract and debtor records are accurate and up to date
  • Continuously improve systems, processes, and procedures
  • Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders

About You:

  • Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable management
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
